I'm a tattoo artist based in Grand Junction, Colorado, working at Elysium Studios. I began tattooing in 2021, and with that experience I've tried to craft a practice that centers around fine-line, stipple-style, semi-realism & surrealism techniques. I feel exceptionally lucky to be able to tattoo for a living.

I'm a self taught artist. When this journey began, I felt a lot of hesitation about being self-taught. I constantly fought (and often still do) an internal mental battle with imposter syndrome. Always viewing myself as being on the outside. But what I've found is that these thoughts stem from the same critical mind that inhibits creativity in all pursuits. The source of these thoughts must be ignored in order to move forward into potential.

Initially, I felt that my self-taught background was less valuable than a traditional apprenticeship. I’m now starting to view it as one of my greatest assets. I take pride in the journey of creating this thing from scratch. I've found I have an innate ability to learn new techniques, make calculated decisions and push on the boundaries of my comfort zone. All this is done in an effort to grow as an artist, chase this mad dream and turn this thing into a career: to live a life of creativity.

In essence, my approach to art and life is characterized by a willingness to explore the unknown and continually refine my skills. I'm so excited for what the future may hold and the next chapter in my artistic journey. I extend an invitation for you to be a part of it.
